fLoRiDa ExPeRiEnCe

Long time ago I went to a conference in Florida. It was fab! Went with some crazy people (San and Miriam), met some brilliant people, got some interesting ideas, did some networking with people from City University in London, and got absolutely pissed on mojitos.

To start off with, the hotel was un-be-lievable!!! Like any Las Vegas hotel; an isolated, self-contained village with everything you could ever wish for! Nine restaurants, a lot of bars, a cinema, comedy club, lagoon and fake beach, chocolates on the pillows, and the best mojitos. It was sooooo cool…we thought we had landed in heaven! And the weather… WOW!!!


The conference was huge! About 12,000 people, and a loooot of Dutch ones!! I even got together with Lisa, a girl I met when living in Houston TX; and Andreia, a Portuguese girl who was my conference budy last year in Copenhagen! What a blast!!

I had a great time…but the tan has gone by now. And my silence over the past few weeks is evidence of the fact that I’ve been hiding myself from the real world again due to my writing up. One more month to go!
